The mural “El Dorado” is an allegory to the story about the sacred ritual of the “MUISCAS” in the Guatavita Lake. The party around the lake was liven up with music, dances, “chicha” and offerings that they brought from other regions, the celebration began at dawn, before sunrise, the “Cacique” impregnated with gold and his entourage are transported in the famous “Muisca” raft towards the center of the lake, where the “Cacique” will take his ritual bath and will deposit its most precious treasures.
